Tall Ships Festival – Easter Weekend 2017
Ahoy! The Royal Greenwich Tall Ships Festival is a 4 day event over the Easter Weekend, around 30 international elegant Tall Ships will be moored on the River Thames between Greenwich and the Royal Arsenal Woolwich. These impressive square-rigged historic sailing ships include historic military, state and commercial ships from countries including UK, Portugal, Spain, Holland, Russia and Germany.
During the 4 day festival, Thursday 13th to Easter Sunday 16th April 2017, any of our Thames Barrier trips leaving and returning to Embankment Pier and our 40 minute Ultimate Blasts from Tower or North Greenwich Piers will see the Tall Ships moored or sailing along the river.
On Easter Sunday is the amazing Parade of Sail when all the Tall Ships line up and sail down river in the late afternoon. We will be running extra trips in the hope to see the Tall Ships depart, as we head to the Thames Barrier and back to Embankment Pier.
Parade of Sail Easter Sunday extra trips, book a 75 minute Thames Barrier Trip departing from Embankment Pier, departing @ 16:45, returning 18.00
